Temporary housing for renovation project

Construction companies and housing corporations offer residents a suitable temporary replacement home during a large-scale renovation. For a renovation project of 156 apartments in Beverwijk, 30 exchange homes with living and sleeping functions had to be furnished. These units are rented until the end of 2024.

 

The challenge

We were to furnish and equip the temporary homes during the construction period so that the client's process would not come to a standstill.

 

The solution

With this client, sustainable partnerships are key. We have been working together with satisfaction for years on large projects where renters are temporarily housed elsewhere. Home Inspirations had previously realized the complete inventories of the transitional housing for this client in, among others, Leidschendam, Hilversum, Haarlem and Leimuiden.

 

Our Basic Home style was chosen for this assignment. This is a style put together by the styling team, in which we use sustainable and budget-friendly products. Here, whenever possible, we make choices that minimize environmental impact and use refurbished and reusable furniture whenever possible.

 

The implementation

In several homes, we took care of the furnishings. For example, we laid new vinyl floors, installed window film in the kitchens, hung curtains and mounted ceiling lights. We also internet and TV. Of course, we finished it off with furniture, kitchenware and household items.

 

By furnishing 2 homes per day, we saved a lot of time and kept operating costs lower.

 

Result

The client outsourced everything to us. Therefore, we took care of the complete unburdening so they could prepare for their renovation project.

Thanks to the short lines of communication and clear communication back and forth, the realization of this project came about in a short period of time and in good consultation.
